Sound Card Driver: last from developer 1. TV Card: hauppauge HVR1110 1. TV Card Type: hybrid 1. TV Card Driver: last for that one... Hello.......... today, I´ve encountered a windows message in front of mediaportal in my mediacenter exclusively machine connected to TV... message told about windows necesity to enlarge virtual memory especified... well, I have 1Gb of RAM, and 2Gb fixed pagefile in other partition... I´ve seen through taskmgr my mediaportal.exe wasting 52mb aprox., but windows was needing 2.23Gb of paged memory (transactions load).......... "oh my god".... ok, just turned off mediaportal, and this 2.23Gb became 415Mb in 5 seconds.......... mmmm This is not the first time I am having this problems since I am using mediaportal 2.3 rc3... sometimes my windows hangs at all, and I must reset from power... completely dead, and I am beginning to think is just mediaportal resources problem... I just use mediaportal to: - see my "about" 1800 video files from 4 or 5 folders configured (not all of them are movies, hehe) - listen to my "about" 12000 mp3 files stored. - see my 160000 photo files stored... - not seeing TV, although is configured..... recently configured scheduled grabber from EPG-grab.. once a day. I know numbers are great, but these are the number of files stored at machine, and I thought it is great if I could access my archieved files everytime I wished.. I do not know if MP is catching or scanning files archieved, so finally it will hang on with entire resources or something similar... Can you offer me a clue of what could it be, please?:S have just seen "scan music folders" at "music database"... and my music folders are checked, but if I try to uncheck them and save (exit), if I come backup I will find again the folders checked.... seems imposible to deselect folders at "scan music folders", and I wonder if that scan would be the resources-monster considering the high number of mp3 available... it seems not to be the problem, since for movies is just the same, and think it is only to scan during configuration session, not to keep scanning automatically when mediaportal is executed.. any idea? thanks so much.
