First: I did search forums. but could not find the topic were this issue was mentioned(or was it an "issue") :D Anyway. I have XP sp3 in main use, but have win7 as test platform(when wife and kids are out....;)). So would somebody explain why win7 x86 & dxva with cybelink is so unstable ??. I remember some of the dev's mentioned in some side clause that it's tsreader that is not working wery well. I have done these preparations: Unregistered(registry tweak for preferred codecs) ms dv codecs, deleted ms codecs. I have working set of cyberlink codecs. v9 for sd and v8 for hd. dxva is set:ON for HD material. I get good and clear picture 1/10 times when i try. Other 9 times HardDrive led starts constant blinking, like HD is running like hell and MP is just frozren dead. So Win7 x86 & NVidia G98(8400 gs) chipset & Cyberlink 8 HD codec is it possible to get it work ?. I Love Win 7 for all other plus things it brings. Overall directx performance is lighting fast compared to xp. And much less hickups in SD livetv. regards, [/QUOTE]
