Trouble when going to Recorded TV (1 Viewer)

After I manually delete a recording file via windows explorer, it no longer appears in my TV Recordings list. It is like all the files listed in the database are checked for their existence before they are displayed.

As I have a large number of recordings, whenever I go to Recorded TV in the MP client it takes 10 seconds before displaying the files. Presumably because it has to confirm all the files in the database are present.

It is super annoying. Can this feature be turned off??

I am running MP v1.1.2 after just upgrading (fresh install) from MP v1.0.2, where this problem did not exist.

Can anyone help?. BTW. Telling me to reduce the the number of recordings is not helping.
