I have now setup a laptop to use as a MediaPortal client-only machine. I have no problem watching .TS files that are mapped from my server, but I cannot watch recorded shows via RTSP. I can use VLC to connect to RTSP to the server. The server is streaming the RTSP stream no problem. I have used GraphStudio to play .TS files and it builds the graph correctly and can play the file. When I use GraphStudio to load an RTSP stream, it initially told me that it could not connect. I believe that I do not have an RTSP DirectShow filter correctly registered so GraphStudio can build a filter graph. I looked at the source code for TsReader.ax that comes with MediaPortal and it looks like it can work as an RTSP DirectShow filter. How do I register MediaPortal's TsReader.ax to be an RTSP input filter and have it build the graph correctly to play RTSP streams? If that is not possible, what RTSP filter should I install and where do I get it? Thanks, Jason [/QUOTE]
