About the Dynamic Refresh Rate changing utility.
First Idea:
I think it is a good idea to build in 4 extra buttons to be able to TEST the commands. Even a follow up thing can be thought of, like: "Did the resolution change correctly?" And if "Yes" isn't pressed within 15 seconds, it will revert to the original refreshrate.
See picture 1 below.
Second idea:
I was thinking to create an easy input / checkbox field where you can select what input signals the TV screen can handle. This way dropdown menu's can be created in the refreshrate field. This will probably lower the threshhold for people to try it and work with it. Also if no input signals are selected (standard), it prevents this feature to be activated and causing damage to the tv/monitor. See picture 2.
