Hey,
because dvd-video creation with .ts - Files isn't that easy and fast from within mediaportal, I tried burning them onto a Data-DVD with the build-in tool MyBurner. I want to backup certain files and make them available on other computers/locations.
Unfortunately, there is only the audio playing, if I select the file from the dvd via the Disc menu or the videos menu while they play just fine even with windows media player.
It could be some codec issue, but I'm not sure, tried the PowerDVD Decoder, same result.
All TV recordings played from hard disk or network drive run perfectly.

Any ideas how to deal with this problem?

Best regards,
eonLightning

I attached some logfiles and a screeshot of graphstudio.

Clearly a bug and can confirm. File is detected as radio and thus no video. Will be fixed for 1.2.0.

I'm sorry. For some reason I thought this bug has already been fixed in my installed version and wondered why I couldn't find anything about it in the forum.

I have a similar problem with ts playback for recorded TV shows when I use mediaportal internal player: it only plays audio (no video), (it is a strange problem because you can view the channel, but when you record this channel and you try to playback the recorded channel with the internal player, there is no video to show, the ts file is detected as a radio transmission). The video and audio playback of the recorded ts file is working fine using an external player like Zoom player or VLC, but with the internal player only audio is played.

It is happening with mediaportal 1.1.2 , and ONLY in some TV channels (I think it depends the video format used in dvb transmission). The only error message in the mediaportal logs that I found trying to play this buggy ts files is an error with MediaInfo.dll

This has been changed so that we totally rely on TsReader now instead of MediaInfo. MP 1.2.0 will have this fix.

I solved it downloading MediaInfo.dll version 0.7.41 and replacing this new version with the one that comes with Mediaportal
