So far, so good. I got the card in yesterday afternoon, and I set about getting it set up on my computer. I installed the drivers, then TV-Server and mysql, and got it running. I scanned for channels and found something like 20 channels. I still need to set up a guide data provider, probably the titantv or winmce data providers. Cool. Now, I just need to figure out how to install the tv plugin on my client computer without having to re-install mediaportal and set up my settings again. Looks like I need run the installer for MP again, but I don't want it to trash all my settings in the process. Any ideas?

Can you clarify your issue?
Sounds like you just need to install the client and you are done.
The guide is essential to recording and getting your PVR function.
For the guide its best to use the built in XMLTV plugin with the MC2XML utility. Like you said point it to Titan or MSFT.
I use SchedulesDirect but I might try the MSFT tv listing provider.

I guess my question was more or less where do I find just the tv client plugin? I'm also having a tad bit of trouble with recording tv and watching the stream at another mp client that does have the tv client plugin. Telling me "unable to play: 1493D2Da, audio codec:". Then I was having an issue where it would start to record a scheduled recording, but would stop and delete the whole folder I had tv-server putting recordings in! I recitified it by having it record to a different hard drive, but that was super-weird.

Got the unable to play issue resolved. It wasn't a codec issue at all, I just had to force tv-server to bind to my lan ip. I still need to investigate the recording folder deletion issue, but I'm not terribly worried by it. My newest quandry is finding some video editing software so I can edit the commericals out and encode them for archival. I'm not particularly interested in comskip because I can handle the actual choosing of parts to delete myself, I just want something like the good 'ol virtualdub that can read ts files and allow to edit and then encode the video to xvid or h.264. Any ideas on that front? Thanks for everyone's help!

Fast forward to present... My setup is working great, save for not having programming data for one channel. I've gotten enough scheduled that I'm starting to have recording conflicts. I guess I'm gonna have to get another one of these gems, and at $50 a card, you can't lose...

crawdaddy, I just got the same card. Which driver are you using? I'm running Windows 7 32-bit and the latest MP SVN, but anytime I scan channels I get "nothing found" on the frequencies that I know exist (everything else says "no signal").
