Tuner Problems (1 Viewer)

Hello
Im new to MediaPortal and im having some problems with my TV-Tuners,
The first one is a old Hauppage WinTV-7164
When im trying to Scann for channels it starts and come to cannel nr 8 or 9 then a BSD,

The other problem is with my new Hauppage Card that i did buy WinTV 885 when i try to scan for channels i get up an error message that says " Please install a supported audio / video encoder for your analog card"

I have read some post on the forum but i have not found any on that TV Card.

It looks like it's analog card without inbuild hardware encoder.
In such cases you should install one of common encoders to make it work with MediaPortal

I'm not an expert but It looks like this card has hardware encoder so it should work fine. Unless it's hybrid tuner which requires additional settings.
