I have the tv server and client on 1 machine. (single setup). In the tv server config I turned on the plugin power management.

When I schedule a recording, the pc is turned on and records the program. So far so good.
However, when I currently record a program and then turn off the htpc, it will stop the recording! But what I want it to do is turn off the pc the moment the recording is finished.

Is this possible? Or did I configure my client wrong?

First of all you leave the htpc running, just turn of Mediaportal\screen, at the end of recording Powerscheduler will go into whatever standby\hibernate delay time you have set.

Now slightly off topic, if you do not wish remote to work to turn off pc whilst recording, then search user "MoPhat", he has a little application for just this.
