Turning focus off? (1 Viewer)

Hi, I run mediaportal in a window along side other applications on my main PC, and whenever the focus is taken off the window it starts blinking on the task bar. I haven't been able to find any option to turn this off, is it possible?

I have a similar question about the episode guide and menus. Since I'm using a mouse to navigate and not a remote or keyboard, I'm finding it difficult to scroll. In the main menu, the menu scrolls according to the location of the mouse cursor. I'd like to simply use the scroll wheel instead of having it automatically move. Same for the EPG, the focus stays where the mouse is, so if I use the scroll wheel to move down, it snaps back. Is there an option to turn this off as well?

There is an option in the config program under general: "Show special mouse controls (scrollbars, etc)"

have never used it thou, and don't know if it works and if it would help you navigate..
