    Hi,
I'm running TV-server and Mediaportal on the same machine.
If i turn it off (on the remote) and it is recording something, i would have hoped that it would be smart enough, to not turn off. It doesn't seem like that is the case though.

Is there any way, a plugin or configuration maybe, that will do this for me?
Keep the mediacenter from turning off, if it is recording?

Thanks, but I can't quite get it to work.
Even with PowerScheduler++, if I start a recording, and press power off on the remote (MCE remote), it hibernates, and the recording dies.

Do i need to set the power button to do nothing in windows? I currently have it set to sleep (not hibernate).

    Hi,

I have mine set to sleep and it records fine when using the MCE remote to put it to sleep. Make sure you have configured the plugin in both the TV Server and in MediaPortal itself if your running both on the same machine. Also check out the installation and configuration guides on the wiki here which helped me set mine up: PowerScheduler++ - MediaPortal Wiki

    Good luck!

Oh and if you ever watch anything outside of mepo make sure you add it to the list of processes that prevent sleep when active. My wife and I were confused when the film she was watching stopped 10 minutes in and our pc went to sleep unexpectedly!

You cannot put your system in awy mode with a power action mapped to "hibernate". Only actions mapped to "sleep" / "hybrid sleep" will enter away mode if needed. Have a look at your windows power settings.
