Hello MediaPortal friends!
TITANIUS comes with a set of new high quality basichome button images. The images of the default Titan skin are NOT suported with this skin, but you can create your own images really simple:
1. Download and install Paint.net (free)
2. Download the Radius Corners plugin in the .zip file attached
3. Extract the zipfile
4. Place the .dll file into C:\Program Files\Paint.NET\Effects
5. Find a nice picture/image you want to use with a minimum resolution of 2372 X 964. Open the image in Paint.net and resize or cut the image to a resolution of 2372 X 964:
7. Go in the menubar to Effects --> Fill --> Radius Fill Corners...:
8. Set the Radius to 120:
9. Now resize the image to 593 X 241, wich is the final resolution of the file and 25% of the original filesize:
*The reason to start with an image that is four times bigger than the final file is to get smooth and perfect curves. When you start the image with the final resolution and you use the Radius Corners plugin to make the curves, you can count the pixels in the curves, and that's not how it should look like..
10. Now you need to rename the file to one of the following buttonnames:
Internet: basichome_button_browsetheweb.png
Extensions: basichome_button_extensions.png
News: basichome_button_infoservice.png
Movies: basichome_button_movies.png
Music: basichome_button_music.png
Games: basichome_button_myemulators2.png
Online Videos: basichome_button_onlinevideos.png
Pictures: basichome_button_pictures.png
Plugins: basichome_button_plugins.png
Radio: basichome_button_radio.png
ScoreCenter: basichome_button_scorecenter.png
Series: basichome_button_series.png
Trakt: basichome_button_trakt.png
Television: basichome_button_tv.png
Weather: basichome_button_weather.png
11. Copy(and overwrite) the imagefile to the Mediafolder of TITANIUS: C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\TITANIUS\Media
12. Remove your skincache (C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache)
