I have a KWorld UB450T USB TVStick.
I know its not the best in the world but its worked fine for over a year now.
I have just made the move to Windows 8 and everything so far is working fine. The drivers for the TV stick work fine and the supplied TV app that came with the device works perfectly, so the stick is working!
However, MediaPortal keeps loosing contact with the it. In the TVSettings it shows up as TYPE: Unknown. It never used to do this. And subsequently the TV wont work within MP.
I can get it working, by uninstalling the TVServer part on MP and then reinstalling it. It works fine for a while and then vanishes again.
Anyone know whats going on here???
