Hi,

Has anyone else got the problem after upgrading from 0.2.2 to 0.2.3 that the channels won't store. The Autotune seems to work perfectly as it did in 0.2.2 but when I go to look at the channels they are not stored. It all worked perfectly in the older version.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

    Hello Jonesie18,

have you tried to delete the "<MediaPortal>\database\TVDatabaseV21.db3" and then do a rescan ?

    Hi,

I actually don't have a folder called database at all and can't find that file either.

    Cheers

    Hi,
On Vista a clean install without any old files in MP folder should be done, the database it's located in C:\All Users\Users\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Database folder, if you have used a SVN you also need to copy back(from the backup) the old MediaPortaldirs.xml file(there was a update of that file & it causes errors on vista systems).

    Regards
    Roy

    Hi Roy,

I copied that file across and it brought all of the information across but now it says it can't find any TV Cards.

    Cheers

    Hi,
The mediaportaldirs.xml, needs to be in MediaPortal root folder, else attach your log to the post.

    Hi,
It shouldn't be if you don't have edited capturecards.xml file yourself.
