TV Server is running without issues, channel preview / manual recording and watching via RSTP (VLC) is all ok. Within MediaPortal, connecting to the TV Server as well is fine, can watch recordings (manually started in the TV Server Configuration), view the EPG, check for current recordings etc. But as soon as I switch the TV to on, it takes some seconds and I get a pop up, telling me that connection to the TV server was lost (see screenshot attached. Reason why no EPG data is because I did not configure the EPG after multiple times of reinstalling MP). Reinstalled MediaPortal multiple times, removed it completely and installed from scratch, but result is always the same. In general, after new installation, the server name set up by default in the tv client config will cause an error message that MediaPortal cannot connect to the TV server. Using server name does not work (even though names is resolved into correct IP address). As soon as I enter the IP, connection to TV server is ok. Nevertheless, switching TV on will always cause loss of connection to the TV server. Any idea what do to / check for resolution? Thanks in advance [/QUOTE]
