TV Codecs setting not working on client computer conected to TVServer??? (1 Viewer)

Hi

I have two computers one with TVServer+MP+Pluging
and the Other just with MP+Pluging

When I use the MP+Pluging on the computer and I set the Video Codec and Audio Codec for TV to NVIDIA dedcoder I can not see the Nvidia Icon on the tray.. Also the is no way to change the AUDIO stream

Is this a bug?

If I do the same setting on the computer running TV Server I can see the NVidia Icon on the tray and I can change the Audio Stream..

Can you confirm this?

Hallo,

Try to change Video Codec and Audio Codec under Movies or DVD in setup.
Codec under Television is only for TV Engin 2 I think.

svn patches forcely install MPA/MPV codecs

just do this after installing:
regsvr32 /u x:\windows\system32\mpeg2decfilter.ax
regsvr32 /u x:\windows\system32\mpaudiodecfilter.ax

MPA/MPV have a higher prio than nvidia purevideo (dunno why) so they get used instead of nvidia

(filenames might not be right )

that has nothing to do with the "issue" here.

the TV-Server Client plugin is not using the codec settings from configuration -> television
it uses the settings from configuration -> movies
