Hi - hoe someone here can help! I am trying to connfigure the TV server but I get a message PPsisdecd.dll has to many bugs and I am directed to a web page for downloads. I have downloaded every file on the page but still get the same message, even after rebooting.

How on earth do I scan for channels?

The TV card I am using comes up as Intel CE9500 in device manager and I have downloaded the software off the install CD only to find the serial no was on the packaging which went in the bin last week!

This program looks fantastic as I'm running Windows XP HE SP3 so don't have Windows media center which I do have on my Windoows 7 PC and the card works perrfectly on that.

Any help/ointers will be most gratefully received.

Cheers!
Karen

    Hi Karen

    Welcome to the forum! :)
So you're missing the DVB fix. There is a list of requirements -->here<-- that I think you should probably check if you haven't already (especially the "system components" and "required updates" tabs).

Regarding the DVB fix (which is the first item on the "required updates" tab): simply follow the instructions in the linked post (which is here). Make sure you restart your PC after installing it.

Let me know if you still have trouble...

I've downloaded and installed the dvb hotfix - what do I do now? I go into the TV server configuration and everything looks the same as before. A nice simple how to guide would be handy but I just don't know what I'm doing wrong!Any help appreciated!

    Cheers

There are lots of answers to questions like this in our wiki. In particular, you should take a look at -->this page<-- for information/instructions for scanning for DVB-T channels.

Yippee!!! I've finally managed to scan for channels but there's no data on the EPG. Nearly geting there!

If anyone has any suggestions on how to get epg data that would be fantastic!

    Cheers

    Hi again Karen

Once again, take a look at the wiki: -->here<--.
Enable the timeshifting and/or idle EPG grabber and select the channels that you want EPG for in the "TV EPG Grabber" section. Then if you've enabled the idle EPG grabber, give TV Server 5 minutes to update the EPG (or do it manually from the "manual control" section - "refresh DVB EPG" button). If you've only enabled the timeshifting EPG grabber then you have to watch the channels in order for the EPG to be updated.
