Hi
I would like the ability to scale the fullscreen tv GUI. Should be easy to implement as an variable in the configuration and then port to the
GUIWindow.Window.WINDOW_TVFULLSCREEN

Why I want this is because my screen is too big for livetv! I need to scale it down to make the picture better. I don't want to change the ratio or anything, just make the fullscreen flexible.

Is it doable?

my projector is a 4:3 proj and the hight in the basement room is only 25 cm higher than the 4:3 screen?

when watching dvd:s it's alright cause they are 16:9 and then everthing is perfect. When watching tv (4:3 to 98%) i's to big.

proj is the only way to go. When walking upstairs and looking at that crappy 28 inch I run downstairs again -:)

    dunno if it works for tv, but have you tried pressing S and set to original size?

    Depends on what mpg2 codecs you use to get this to work though.
    On DVD using S only works with the intervideo Codecs.
    So try these on TV to

    well the original size is tv? So fullscreen will always be fullscreen or?

    I'm not at home so I can't try what S does but what I want is to have fullscreen anly to be 800*480 and my screen resolution is 800*600. It's kind of hard to explain but I guess I want a window mode of 800*480 with a keept ration of 4:3

    S has several zoom modes.
    TV is (for PAL) 720x576. If you would have 1024x768 as fullscreen resolution on Mediaportal then showing TV in the original size will display is smaller.

    So thats the idea.
    If your desktop is set now at 800x600 then it won't matter that much.

    // edit
    Frodo just told me S does not work in TV. :( sorry.
