Hello all,

After much frustrating tinkering with MediaPortal 1.1, I am still at a loss of what exactly needs to happen to get my TV stations to function.

I installed an ASUS TV Tuner card, scanned the channels, but when I go to mediaportal, nothing shows up. I am feeding my TV tuner card with a wire feeding straight from the wall (that I presume is analog).

It works perfectly with WMC, including FM radio.

Can someone point me to where I can get this working? I feel like I'm reliving the days of having to setup Foobar.

What kind of system do you have?
What is the exact Model of the Tuner card you use?
Do you use the latest BDA drivers for the Tuner Card?
When you scan with the TV Server does he find any Channels?
Did you switch on the TV function in Mediaportal?
Did you install any codecs for Mediaportal? At leat any MPEG Codec (or the SAF Filter pack)?

If you want any help you have to give the users here more info.

Hey there,

Thanks for the reply.

Here are the answers:

1) A custom built HTPC with an ASUS PHC3-100 TV tuner.
2) The drivers are up to date.
3) It does indeed find channels. None of them are labeled though (they are just the numbers).
4) Yes, I have switched on the TV function
5) I have installed the Shark007 codec pack. TV is currently using MPC Mpeg-2 Decoder (Gabest).

Thanks for any help!

Edit: The TV box is is empty, none of the channels seem to work, and when I go into FM radio, there's no function to tune anything. Whargh.
