My tv guide has no data. I've only just downloaded Media Portal and love the software but cannot understand anything about how to get the tv guide working....
Does it have to link up with the epg broadcast by my Hauppauge win tv usb stick?

With Freeview, you have to tick the Grab EPG from DVB box, in MP config\Television\Program\guide, usually takes about a hour to populate all channels with 7 days worth of programs.

Yes not as fast as a settop box.
