TV Guide Setup (1 Viewer)

Hey,
How do you set up the TV Guide in Media Portal; I tried the plug-in Zap2It but it just crashes Media Portal. Is there another plug-in that i can use? or some other way that i can set it up?
I am running Media Portal 0.2.3.0 and i tried the Zap2It SVN plug-in. Just switched from MCE, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

At first I used the included XMLTV grabber detailed in the wiki but ideally wanted it to update the EPG from the DVB stream itself.

I was having a big config overhaul at the weekend so I manually renamed the XMLTV guide file in the MediaPortal\XMLTV directory and hit the 'clear all saved EPG data' in the TV section of the MP Setup util.

Under 'Settings> TV > DVB EPG' in MP I made sure all the channels were selected and a few hours later after leaving the TV module on the EPG was populated.

This was for a DVB-T signal however so may not work for other signal types and/or countries.

For analog TV cards the best way would be to grab the data by WebEPG.
It has 3 parts:

1. WebEPG-conf.exe in the MediaPortal folder - To configure WebEPG.
2. WebEPG.exe in the MediaPortal folder - To Manually run WebEPG.
3. WebEPG plugin - To set scheduled updates.
