Unplugging the hdmi cable or changing inputs does nothing to restore video. If i go back to using the dvi adapter everything is normal, of course without the nice hdmi audio.Maybe i'm not searching the right words or something but i have found very little about this actual issue and even less on solutions. It's rather inconvenient to remember to or even always have to turn on the receiver/tv just to make sure when i want to watch the htpc i have video. From what i can tell the issue is related to the handshake of hdmi and the fact that if the pc doesnt get one it never tries to look again for it. Anyone have any luck with a solution that didn't involve major workarounds? even remoting ito the htpc and messing with things doesn't get the vid card to rescan for an hdmi monitor.Thanks</blockquote>
