i have been using mediaportal for a while now on my bed room for showing videos etc. But i have never got as far to buy a tv card that is supported. But yesterday i got an idea! i used my usb dongle (syntek STK 1160) an connected that one to mye very old vcr an tuned in the tv signals fro my cable. And then I installed the cam player plug in, and Voilla! ive got tv on my mediaportal! But since there is no sound supported in the my cam player plugin, there is no sound... Does anyone now if there is a cam player plugin, that supports sound?
