I have the same problem with a Hauppauge PVR250 card. I have tried various CVS up to 25 March and still getting the same result of a gray out TV picture with RC3. I can see the TV images beneath the gray out picture and am pretty sure it is right. I, too, am stump.

Playing back recorded TV program is not a problem. The images come through normal. I will try to do more testing with setup and see if I can figure out anything more.

Just want to let you know you are not the only one with this problem.

I had a similar problem, I had to change 'TV Standard' under each channel from 'Default' to 'PAL G'. 'TV Standard' is located under the 'Analog' tab in the TV channel properties.

Jacob, good that it worked for you. I'm is Singapore and we should be using PAL B. In any case, I tried PAL G but the change did not fix my problem.

I'm wondering if it is a video encoder issue since my playback of old recording worked perfectly!

I noticed that when I run the start.bat (after copying the CVS files) certain files were not successfully copied. They are:
1. MpaDecFilter.ax
2. Mpeg2DecFilter.ax
3. MpegAudio.dll
4. MpegVideo.dll

Could the above files not being successfully copied be responsible for the grayout TV pictures I am getting on the TV module?

Anyone can help explain how these dll and ax files are used in MP?
