TV Player client for Android! (1 Viewer)

Hi!
I want to use the Android TV Box to watch TV from Mediaplayer server. Be able to manage the remote. Is this possible? I tested aMPdroid, but it is good when using the phone, but the TV is unwieldy. Are there alternatives to client apps?

For android, the best way to go is XBMC (Kodi) with PVR Mediaportal plugin. But I don't know if your android box has the power to deinterlace 1080i signal.

If you have the Tronsmart or R89 box I think you should be good. I'm using the FireTV but my signal is easier to decode (720p30)
