TV Quick Setup - no country selection (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I just wanted to setup MP according to the TV Quick Setup but I was not asked for any database password and my TV DVB-S2 card does not offer a country selection. No I have more than 1000 channels of which many are in foreign languages or blocked. What can I do?

at this moment, you can not select a country only providers

It shows a different setup screen than on the link you gave me. Or does this have a different reason?

I have a dual tuner card in my computer. But when I do the scan for both tuners it seems like the scan for the second tuner just updates what the first tuner has already found. Do I have to do any configuration if I want to watch a different channel than the one which is recording or does MediaPortal automaically notice what I want to do and select the correct tuner "on the fly"?

It shows a different setup screen than on the link you gave me. Or does this have a different reason?

When installing mediaportal , you can at a certain time choose for a simple or an advanced setup, if you want a diferent password than the default password then you should choose the advanced setup.(there are more options with Advanced Setup -->see wiki)
If you go for a simple setup, the default password for the DB is "MediaPortal".

Thank you very much for your detailed explanation!

I actually don't need a different password than the default one (right now). I just wanted to point out that what the TV Quick Setup guide says deviates from what I experienced. But maybe this is written for people who chose an advanced setup.
