TV recordings disappeared after upgrade - how to restore them? (1 Viewer)

I just installed RC3
tv-recording path is the same as before, the files are there.

MediaPortal does not show them.

I've tried "TV-Server configuration" -> "recording settings" -> "database import" (no files shows up)

Do your TV channels have the exact same names on RC3 as they had before?
Mediaportal wont show a recording if channels have different names - e.g. a recording from "Some TV Channel" wont show, if the same channels name now is "Some TV-Channel".

The channel names and recoring path is the same.
-new recordings show up just fine.

This is not very important to me, just wanted to tell about it.

Possible fix?

I had this issue after reinstalling RC2 (not on RC3 yet) I'm not sure if you are experiencing the same fault but my fix was as follows:

-Move TS and XML files missing in tv recordings to another folder outside of the default recordings folder
-Run the remove from database option in tv server those files
-Move files back to tv recordings folder
-Run the Import function in tv server

The files then showed up.
