    ************I will post LOGS ASAP.************

Tv plays nice either live or timeshifting but sometimes crashes while watching recording.

First it will get pixelly, then freeze , then crash(bad crash will not even goto watchdog). If im fast enough when it starts to freeze and fastforward 15-30 seconds it continues fine.

Seems to happen at random times and not on any special channel. This might happen once or twice per houron recorded tv(angry wife)

Weird as videos/dvds and even live tv all play 100%

MY old mediaportal RC3 never did this but I get this when I changed to 1.0 and 1.01

anyone else have this problem? Ive tried different codecs but no luck. Is there another tswriter/reader file to try?

Any luck with this? I have the exact similar problem but not only after an upgrade and with every codec I tried. This happens with every version of MP with me. Never been able to solve it or to find out where the problem lies. I have tried another mainboard/CPU and DVB-S card (different vendor) but had the exact same problem then.

    Thanks!

    Hi,
I have a similar problem that some of the recorded TV did not even start to play (not even in other players, VLC,...).
I have this problem with MP 1.0.2, never had it with MP 1.0.0.
    But MP does not crash.

It seems that the recording does not work properly every time.

Maybe in your case it can also be that the HW acceleration has some problem. Try to turn it off or switch to MPV codec.

Same problem here too, this should be a bug. I use the same codecs as always and with 1.0+svn it was all visible.
Bad voor WAF! Skipping forward or back does fix it.

Not quite same here. Only some of the recordings won't start at all. Others are fine. But in some cases(1 out of 10 or so) are corrupted. They won't play in MP, but Windows media player plays them fine.(i know it's strange). When i start corrupted recording, log fills with come
entrys indicating buffer allready contains data.....

    regards,
