Hello,

I've rebuild a new HTPC and installed Mediaportal. All running fine, but when connecting to my TV, I was unable to set a custom resolution representing a 16/9 aspect ratio (NVidia 8500 GT). I've gived up with the drivers ...

Gives any possibility to tell to media portal that the actual resolution is represented on 16/9 screen ? So It will perhaps resize correctly the movies ...

Thanks for any info or tutorial.
Bye

Hello,

Sorry, I've missed the 'Screen Calibration' inside MediaPortal Settings. So I can now configure my pixel aspect ratio, and my films are looking ok.

It remains on problem : my image is smaller than the screen (already the windows desktop is), I think I need some underscan ... In the 'Screen Calibration', we can define the screen size (with a red and green box), but as far as it is going out of the visible zone, not usable.

Anyone can point me on an underscan possibility (NVidia driver seems not to support that - Vista) ? Or on a tutorial for 'Screen Calibration' ?

Thanks
Yeti
