TV Scheduler Recorder/Tuner Plugins (1 Viewer)

TV Scheduler, the rule based scheduling engine (https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/development-91/rule-based-tvscheduler-service-26158/), is evolving to work with a plugin system for recorder/tuners.

What this in effect means is that TV Scheduler itself will take responsability for the TV guide, the schedules, priorities, conflicts,... and let the recording plugin handle the actual recording.

This opens up the possibility of writing a plugin not just for TVE3 (which will be the first available plugin, already in beta now), but also for other recording systems. So I wondered if it would make sense to post a poll here to get some feedback on this.

I've added some recorders I can think of as being interesting or useful, but feel free to complete the list.

Not sure what you are trying to achieve with this one, as my vote would naturally go to TVE3, with a possibility to port back to MyTV as a additional choice.

Putting it out to the likes of gbpvr or anyone else would be down to yourself and there own Dev's\forum members surely.

ps. i have no complaint about it being compatible with other pvr spftware.

Yep, I think the first choice should be TV 3 (as also in evidence by the vote) but if you have time or inclination, then as many other systems as possible would b ideal.

That's indeed what I was trying to get a general feel about. So hence the poll

In essence it's indeed no surprise TVE3 will win this poll (especially here on the MediaPortal forum ), and that's of course great, but it would still be interesting to see if people would value other support as well.
