I did it because I want to have RC2. I also installed the latest available SVN, but that was a catastrophe. Nothing worked correctly and MP crashed permanently. So I decided to take an earlier SVN. After several reinstallations I finally went lucky with MediaPortal 1.0 RC2 (no SVN) and TV Server 1.0 RC2 (SVN mediaportal-svn-09-06-2008--11-16-Rev20143). All is working fine now, except the TV Server. The server crashes often when I want to watch TV. When I click on My TV in MediaPortal, normally after a few seconds the TV menu appears and the TV runs. But randomly it happens nothing. I only can see that on my external display the "TV" sign disappears. Then MP hangs completely. I have to exit it via the TaskManager. I also have to restart the TVService.exe, otherwise the TV wont work. When I restarted both, TV works wonderful until the next crash. The crashes come randomly, so they have nothing to do with standby reasons or so, I think. I attached the Logfiles generated with Watchdog. In the TVserver errorlog there is a "System.Net.Sockets.SocketException", but I really dont know what to do. It would be great if someone yould help me, because my family is not very happy with that. The old install with RC1 worked perfectly and it would be great if I could fix that as well. Thank you in advance and sorry for my bad english, Greetings, underpool [/QUOTE]
