Hi all

I'm wondering if TV-Server will be able to do this?

I currently have a WinMCE2005 PC. Its all working fairly well except it does crash regularly. A feature of Windows I guess. Anyway, the GF & kids are all used to the Interface and don't want to swap.

However, I want to put a TV in the study and wiring a TV aerial because of where it is would be hard. So my thought was to install TV-Server onto the WinMCE PC and stream TV over the network. My question is this though. Can WinMCE and TV-Server share the same TV tuner or will I need one for each?

Thanks in Advance

So just cos I am a total noob at this....

I can install MCETvServerClient on my main WinMCE machine. Replace the "engine". Then that PC can use WinMCE UI for my family and yet stream TV to my other computer running Mediaportal??

Sounds too good to be true!!!!

Yes, but have not tried personally. so maybe you can let us know how you get on, post back on the MCETvServerClient post as it will give more encouragement for any updates.

    Cheers
