Its been a while since I've browsed these forums, as I've been running MediaPortal_0.2.3.0 without a hitch for a year or so
However I noticed that you have the RC3 release so thought I'd give it a spin
Heres my request...
..can someone talk me through how to simply configure the TV server, to be used for viewing my cable tv.

Im a tad lost as to how to configure the new tv server.. for example within the edit tv channel, there is no 'external' tab option (see screen 3 of the links above) to set the channel as 'received by external set top box / input via CVBS#1'
Help.....
Edit.. another problem, is that when I add a tv channel, under the 'types heading' it states that 'the channel is not mapped to card'? and for the life of me... I cannot see how to map my card to this channel?
Neah mind - I finally figured it out that I needed to add channels from the tv servers sub-menu, by selecting the tv card and then clicking add channels. Then I went into the channel list and deleted everything I didn't need
