TV Server does not detect my TT DVB-S cards (1 Viewer)

Hello!

I have just installed Mediaportal + TV-Server. There are two DVB-S cards installed in my system: TT-Budget 1401 and TT Premium Rev. 1.6. Both cards have all necessary drivers and tools installed.

Can anyone help me and tell me what i am doing wrong?

i think you has WDM driver used
but there ist the problem you need BDA driver

and thrre is the problem it give none BDA Driver for premium cards only for the budget serie
the BDA Driver for your tt 1401 can you find here

Does anyone have an idea how I can get my TT premium Revision 1.6 FullFeatured DVB-S card running? I was using the WDM Drivers from TT-Goerler (tt-pc.de) before. Since Revision 1.6 is an old card I used the drivers for the Premium C2300 which worked fine. The Problem is that MP TV-Servers doesnt detect it.

Is there any way to get that card running as well?

I would also be willing to sell that card and get another one.

Can anybody tell my what would be a good card to buy to work together with my Technotrend Budget 1401 card? I want to be able to record tv while watching other cannels and to watch recordings while something else records.

I do need a Full Featured card for that, dont I?

I just found the Recommended TV-Cards section: https://www.team-mediaportal.com/recommended_tv_cards/. But there is only one PC-Card recommended (FloppyDTV). Isnt there any other DVB-S hardware working fine?

Hi,
i use the TT Budget DVB-S 1401 with a TT Budget DVB-S2 3200 and works fine. But if don't plan to use HDTV in the future, a second 1401 should do it for you.
Premium cards are only necessary for VDR systems.

I was running LinVDR on that system before - you are right. But can you explain why I dont need a Full Featured Card anymore? I thought there was something about the buildin MPEG-Decoder so that the CPU is not idle all the time?

Normally the graphic card do all the work. Please update your system profile in control center and enable viewing for all users. Then it's easier to help you.

I have a TT Budget DVB-S2 3200 card as well and 5.0.1.8 BDA drivers but TVServer never recognizes it.
What's wrong with me?

Difficult to say whats wrong. I use 5.0.1.8 also. Does the card work with original software? Try to reinstall the card.

Yes, the card is working with DVBViewer Pro.
I reinsalled it twice.
I gonna try to re-install SQL Server and TV Server.
