tv server install problems (1 Viewer)

hi

today i tryed to install media portal on my htpc. u used the one click way, cause i want to watch tv on my htpc too.

so now my problem:

after mediaportal is downloading the mysql 5.1 it is trying to install it, but i always get the same fault
mysql - set password error 1

and the install progress is shutting down.

after i that i always try to go on with installing mediaportal and it works. but if i want to configure my tv server, i cant connect on the scql server, he always cant find my pc as host... so i tried to install the ofter sql way but there is still the same problem that he cant find my pc as the host

You could try to troubleshoot the mysql database independently with phpmyadmin, its a useful tool for managing mysql database. you should be able to verify that the database has been created with thecorrect user/passwords with it also.
