Hi,
To make it easy to check my log files I have the standard medial portal log directory shared on my home network. That way I can check it from my notebook. I wanted to do the same with the TV server log directory, but I've hit a problem. I can share the directory no problem. But when I try to access it from the network I get an "access denied" error. The share is visible in "My Network Places". I'm running XP Home on both systems. I suspect this has something to do with the permissions of the All Users/ApplicationData folder, I'm using an NTFS file system, but Home doesn't seem to let you access the advanced file permissions.
Anyone any suggestions on how to fix this? Can I change the location of my TV Server log files?
Thanks
Andy
