Hello again,

I have a question, that keeps buggin´me.

I have the Media Portal TV-Server installed
on my windows machine, that is quite powerful.
Is it possible that the Computer with the TV-server
processes (decodes...)all the media and send it to
the clients?

My goal is to have low-end computers as clients with
just the mediaportal interface and beeing able to
watch TV and high definition videos on them without
having the highend hardware that is usually required
for the cliens.

Thanks for your help!!!!!!!

    Well Thanks for the reply!!!

But I think You didn´t quite understand what I meant.
I want my HTPC with The TV-Server installed to stream
High-Definition Videos and HDTV to the clients.

You´re right that´s what the TV-Server is for!

But I want that the HTPC with The TV-Server already de-
codes everything so the low-performace clients just
have to "present" the image and sound.

As far as I know you need a very powerful computer
(CPU: Dual-core CPU with 2,0 GHzor better and at least 1024 MN RAM)
for the clients in order to decode the videos and HDTV.

My goal though is to have very low power consuming clients
(for example the Asus Eee Box)

    Any suggestions?

    THANKS!!!!!!
