hi, I am trying to use the tvserver latest svn. No problem at installation, all is running. However, tv quality appears to be significantly more bad than using the mp "classiv" tv enging. Especially, mainly with some programs, many artifacts due to interlaced problems (tearing) are shown. In old classic mp engine, it was avoided by choosing the appropriate wm9 filter options in directx. These are unchanged in this installation, but do they maybe have no effects on the picture quality in tv-server engine?
Does anyone experience similar problems?
Thanks!

I have the same problem. Actually I didn't really notice at first, because I watch tv on a 32" LCD at 4.5 meters distance... Only thing I noticed was more moire when people was wearing striped clothing.
Looking at the signal from a shorter distance shows that there are significantly more aliasing artifacts as if the odd and even lines are reversed??? I'm not sure. Not a big problem for me.
TV2 did not show the same problem.

does this apply to digital broadcasts or analog ones ? I guess there lies the difference as aikon explained in his separate thread.
