sunflower, bugmenot, i suspect you had a message "Missing or invalid file C:\.........TvWishListMP.xml" This means you do not have a valid skin file for the TvWishListMP plugin. it has nothing to do with messages.xml. This filemessages.xml is not needed anymore, only during export an ascii file is created with that name. The reason for the error message can be: 1) You are using a skin which does not support TvWishlistMP. Check the manual for which skins are supported. You can try to switch to the MP default skin for testing. You can ask the skin developer to support the plugin in the future. 2) You have not checked the install skin option in the installer window. Try to reinstall and make sure the checkbox is active. D3ltoroxp, i am afraid i am not able to support the mpei installer inside MP, as i am depending on a separate installer, which is called from the mpei installer and cannot do a "silent install" which seems to be required if you want to install inside MP. My installer will first ask you for confirming the license agreement in a windows window and then start the install.exe window, where the version will be detected and the option of skin installation can be chosen. There is more user interaction required for installing the plugin, so i am not able to support a silent install. Update: i just tried to install with the MP plugin and it does not require a silent install and does support an external installer. However, I got some error messages and an exception when trying to uninstall the plugin. It could be related to the behavior first seen by elliottmc a few posts before. I think there is an inssue with the mpei installer when using the Mp plugin. The external mpei installer works fine Update 2: i tried again today using the MP extension plugin. i could not reproduce the error from yesterday - there was first a message file used by another process, which may have triggered the other errors. But i think there is still a bug in the extension plugin. When i first install a test version without the extension installer I can upgrade with the extension installer plugin, but see multiple installed versions of tvwishlist. When i try to remove the older version with the extension installer the latest version is being removed and not the older one.
