[confirm] TV-Server RC4 freezes after EPG grabbing (1 Viewer)

Hi there,

first of all, my problem is 100% reproducible.

I have unchecked all channels that should be EPG-grabbed and selected only 4.

As soon as this 4 channels has been grabbed:
- I cannot watch TV anymore (then my MP-clients freeze as well)
- when I try to select a DVB-S card in the TV-server config, the config freezes.
-> the TV-Server freezes.

My EPG-settings are:
-Always try to fill holes
-Enable CRC
-Grab while timeshift: 2 min
-Grab while idle: 15, 250 min

Could you test with CRC disabled and 'always try to fill holes' disabled? It is worth seeing if one of these is causing your problems.

Also try checking if it is some specific channel that causes such to happen.

same issue here 100% reproducible. It takes around 3 hrs for the TV Server to hang and then I cannot restart it without having an error. Logs are attached. Will try to play with CRC, etc. and post logs.

I have unchecked CRC and 'always try to fill holes' now. No enhancement.
It is also not a specific channel.

-Always try to fill holes
-Disabled CRC (also tried enabled)
-Grab while timeshift: 2 min
-Grab while idle: 5, 120 min

hey guys,

for me grabbing is fine... i have 3 tv server running. one with DVB-C, one with DVB-S and one with 2xDVB-T.

Settings:
always try to fill holes
CRC checking enabled
grab while timeshift 2min
grab while idle: 10min, 720min


just to say, it works perfect over here

EDIT:
i have checked "reset graph..." in tv-server config (perhaps this is something to try?!)
