hi! Today I've installed the TV server (latest svn) and initially, it will be a great product!
However, I have some questions:
1. Now, it is based on windows service. Furhtermore, there is a listing box for scheduled recording. But how to program them, if they are e.g. two weeks in future? If I understand right the tvmovie clickfinder plugin will be able to submit program data to tvserver, but not directly the scheduled recordings? Thus, how can we program the tv server to record?
2. Will the tvserver wake up the pc from standby mode to record the scheduled films? If might be easy now because it is based on a windows service?
3. Is it possible to schedule the service to record or how to go?
I did a search in this forum but the answers to this questions are confusing and I am just interested in setting up a system which is capable to schedule recording of TV! (as the free tvmovie clickfinder supports....)
4. After installation of tvserver, all EPG data are gone. Before, using the "normal" tv-engine, there were no problems with EPG data. Any known problem with the current tvserver svn with missing EPG data??
Thanks so much!

Of course the TV Server can record TV, so long as the service is running (which it will all the time while the computer is on, unless you change things). I don't think the power scheduler plug-in is working yet, so you will have to leave the PC running the service on all the time, or at least when you need it to record.

Well I hope it will work.
For me not waking up to record is something that can make the difference from using MP for TV to not not using MP for TV.
But it should not be complicated to do it. MP only needs to always put the next recording time as a Windows Schedualed Task.
