[not reproducible] TV Server - Service Crash (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

had a TV Service Crash today. Client say "Connection to Server Lost".

Windows Eventlog shows the following error:

to get full picture of what is going on on your HTPC we need full logs from your server (EventLogs for applications and system)

Do you have any antivirus software running on server?

No antivirus is installed.
on 11-23 i had an Raid Error. (one Drive Dead, but this was not the Systemdisc...)
Please see the attached Logs. I hope that is what you need.

The description for Event ID 302 from source DDTuner cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

Reinstall the DigitalDevices driver for your card.

As an extra you can set the Recovery settings for the TV Service to 'Restart the Service' on first, second & subsequent failures (right mouse click on the service > Properties > Recovery tab)

Can you tell me where in the Logs you found the 302 Error? (Time/Date would be great.) I have those Entrys here but the Description is "Device 300:300 delete DVBC filter 1" for Example.

I have changed the Server-Restart Settings right after i saw the Crash today... Thanks anyway for the hint

Open your system log you can't miss them (and check the message on the 'General' tab below)

It's your systemlog, so should be your error

On my System this is what i see:



I mean, this is no Error. It is just an Informational Logging. I believe you don't see the Details because i didn´t exported the description for other Languages. (I can export it again if you like)

So, i also believe this has nothing to do with the Crash of the Service.

Aaahh, now i get it
Indeed strange that your logs shows different stuff (maybe localisation?), and you are right that it's an Info log.
I see at least 15 minutes of connection errors with your MSSQL dB in your TVService-Error log.

Are you sure the dB is setup correct and good accessible in the network?
