TV Server setup question (1 Viewer)

So I am a complete newbie to this I've tried others, Anyway I have successfully setup mediaportal 2 and the tv server, I can watch on my pc, I have added TVServerKodi Plugin and opened the port on my router, but when i try to open the client it never connects to the server? I verified i have the correct port in the pvr client and that it is open in my router. Is there something I am missing
