TV Server tuning issues London UK (2 Viewers)

I have just install the latest MediaPortal 1.2.3 but I am having difficulties turning the channels in.

I have Windows 7 Home edition and using Avermedia HD Homefree Duet tuner

Using the Avermedia software I can see all my freeview channels with the BBC at 490000 frequency

Media portal sees the avermedia unit and when I do a channel scan I can see lights flickering on the unit but Mediaportal fails to find any channel.

Initially the default frequency is 306000 (set either to all regions or Crystal Palace for London) but I have tried 400000 and 450000 without luck.

Anyone have any thoughts on what I can do?

Hi Blueisland,

I'm a little confused... from your post it seems you are using the manual tuning option, instead of allowing MP to scan automatically.

Are you trying to find channels manually? By selecting the Crystal Palace transmitter from the drop down list under each tuner listed in the server setup, you should select scan and it should find all the channels for that transmitter. I have two DVB-T cards in my setup and always use my local transmitter.

I have never really used the manual tuning options.
