We have two new channels in Austria, ORF SPORT+ and ORF III (the latter one is actually on the frequency of a previous channel, TW1). However, I am unable to watch either of these channels. Whenever I want to tune to these channels (manually via SetupTV), I get an "unknown error" and I basically have to restart the PC, because the TV card will not work anymore after that, even if I restart the TV service. The error log only says
2011-10-26 17:27:29.234375 [(19)]: Exception :System. Implementations.DVB.TvCardDvbBase.StopGraph() bei TvLibrary.Implementations.DVB.TvCardDVBS.StopGraph() bei TvLibrary.Implementations.TvCardBase.FreeSubChannel(Int32 id, Boolean continueGraph) bei TvLibrary.Implementations.DVB.TvCardDvbBase.FreeSubChannel(Int32 id) bei TvLibrary.Implementations.DVB.TvCardDvbBase.Tune(Int32 subChannelId, IChannel channel) bei TvLibrary.Implementations.DVB.TvCardDVBS.Tune(Int32 subChannelId, IChannel channel)
I then finally made the complete, clean reinstallation of the TV server (though still 1.1.3 for now, I'll need more time to update all the clients to 1.2.1 as well), with manually checking that everything in Program Files and AppData was deleted and I did not re-import any settings or channels from the previous installation. I made a fresh channel scan (I manually altered the URLs in the satellites.xml, since they do not work anymore), but the same error still occurs. The reason why I post this here: the original problem in the original post of this thread still occurs as well. I thought maybe this is related somehow. I also ran Prime for 24 hours on the server, to check if there may be a hardware problem with the RAM or CPU for instance, since the error message suggests, that this might be the problem. But no errors occurred so far in these 24 hours. I am currently suspecting, that it's actually the TV cards fault? I mean, it's a clean installation, CPU and RAM show no errors after a 24 hour stress test, I don't know what else I could do.
