LiveTV had been happily playing BBC1 for sometime, when suddenly the picture froze and sound stopped. Whilst the mouse cursor was still movable, MP was unresponsive and I couldn't bring up the XP Start Menu or Task Manager to kill it. I had to RDP in from my other box to kill MP in the end.

Checking the logs, it seems that MP crashed and automatically restarted around 00:58. I can't think of any reason why this should have happened but anyway I don't think that it should have made MP or my PC unresponsive. Might just have been a wierd one-off but I thought I might as well report it in case the logs show something that can be fixed.
