Dude, you rule! Thought I'd give it a try after reading your post. Was about to do a full reinstall of OS and MP. Frustrated as h*ll. Uninstalled Catalyst 10.1 and installed 9.8.... and it's running smooth again. You realy saved the day for me. I owe you a beer RobinE!

What made you decide to take this step?

I had a similar issue with MP freezing after resume. Downgrading catalyst to 8.7 helped in my case.

On my system I could not watch TV or recorded TV after a resume. It would freeze so badly that a hard reboot was needed.

Only catalyst 8.7 was to old for me, so I read somewhere else that 9.8 works well.

styriaman: I had similar Errors before and after a while i got rid of them by searching the Error-Messages in this forum, but the annoying with my current Problem is that is no Error-Message at all!!!

I ordered another Firewire addon-card because I got told that cards with VIA-Chipset (like mine) often causes trouble. I will report back in a while...

My problem was due to my Technisat AirStar 2 PCI DVB-T Card. I checked the card half a year ago by removing it. But with problems still remaining I thought the card wasnt the reason. Obviously I have had more different errors...
