Hi,

I'm having a very annoying problems with the TV service. Whenever I start up MediaPortal on return from Standby and try to watch TV, it takes ages for anything to happen, then I get sound, but no picture. MediaPortal becomes unresposive until I do a bit of messing around with Task Manager. If i restart MediaPortal I get the same problem ad the only way I can watch TV again is to restart the PC.

Log file attahced. Any help would be really appreciated.

You have a lof of 3rd party plugins installed. Please disable all of them and try to reproduce the issue. If you still have troubles, post updated logs.

When you say no picture, do you see functioning MP GUI on resume and then it goes to black screen.

Also try setting a 20 second delay in TVServer settings before detecting card, only because it looks like its taking a few seconds for the database to get up and running.

Now done. I've attached two sets of logs: one for when it works OK, one for when I get the black screen

Yes, I get a fully-fuctioning GUI, with everything else working, it's only when I start TV that I get the blank screen.

I've now added the 20-second delay but still have the same problem.

It's defo a problem with MediaPortal, as I have no problems watching TV from standby with DVBViewer.
