Right, I have an ADS InstantTV USB, it has been installed properly with the drivers, but I cannot get it to work under MediaPortal

Is there any help, can I somehow force mediaPortal to recognise the tuner?

It is a hardware tuner running on the USB.

If you are talking about analogue HW-tuner, than TVE3 should solve your problem

Tv Cards Supported

1. any DVB/ATSC card which has BDA drivers
2. any analog card with h/w encoding onboard
3. some analog cards which use s/w encoding
4.

Well, i installed SQL server, manager and all prerequesites, and the TVe3.

The TVE finds my TV tuner, but is not able to find any channels - adding them manually gives me errormessages
Looks like the ADS INstantTV USB wont work with my MCE
