Since you have a DVB-T card, you need to install the BDA drivers for that card - have you done that?

Have you installed SP2 and all patches on Windows XP Pro?

Also, please use the MPV and MPA decoders initially. I don't think that these

MPEG2 Video Codec: BtCap, WDM Video Capture
MPEG2 Audio Codec: BtCap, WDM Audio Capture

that you have selected are valid decoders ...

no they're for my old card, i haven't updated my details in the forums for my new card lol.

I haven't got SP2 installed for certain reasons, i'll try a different codec though. I've got the default generic drivers installed.

I dont have SP2, but MediaPortal works fine.

Now I am confused ...

I thought that the reason you created this post is that MediaPortal doesn't work fine with the KWorld DVB-100 Digital Terrestrial card ?

Which is exactly why you need SP2 and ALL Microsoft updates, including the ones in "Tips & Tricks".

MediaPortal works fine, but My TV doesn't work with my TV Tuner, but Media Portal detects it in the configuration, I don't understand why the message about that error comes up.

there are MS updates that only work with SP2 which address issues with DVB cards. This is why MP will work now, but TV won't.

If your copy of WinXP isn't legit, wither find a better license key or bite the bullet and buy a legit version. Seems like th only way you'll be watching TV on your PC.

I had a PC that would not accept SP2, I would get the dreaded "blue screen of death".When I installed MP and a capture card, it did not see the card.

So, I bit the bullet and did what Microsoft recommended. I did a fresh install of WinXP, including SP2 and all updates. All works fine now.

Here is a link to a Windows up date application, it is not connected to Microsoft. It may be what you need: ;)
